This project consists of a timeline of Californian graphic design, architecture and technology in the 80's and early 90's, presented as role out DVD packaging and a DVD. The 80's and 90's were a particularly innovative time in California and especially Los Angeles for design. It concentrates on the period when desktop publishing had just come on the scene but before the web came along. When I studied architecure I was very much into the Santa Monica school and aware of graphic designers like Emigre and David Carson. After 3rd year in college I went to Los Angeles for 6 months to do some architectural work experience.
