Visualising Blackboard

This project is a visualisation of discussion forums used by the class. The first image is a visualisation of who replied to whom. The darker the line the higher the number of replies. The loops are people replying to their own posts. Tony was taken out of the circle of names and placed in the centre. The large number of 2 way interactions between himself and the students was making the inter-student relationships difficult to see.

The 2^nd image is a visualisation of what time of the day and what day of the week people posted. The darker the block the more posts that occurred in that block. Each of the blocks in the left image represents 10 minutes.
